Looking at the last quarter is an amazing experience , this was the first quarter for us here at middle earth after the restructuring ( MEC 4.0 ) where we set up 4 business units and 5 support units
We had a great success with the SP Jain Dubai – WHRB long term program on organizational coaching where we had overwhelming interest in Egypt , India , Dubai and GCC countries, this also marked an entry for MEHR into Co- branded programs for us for the first time, the batches are starting this quarter , we are in touch with a number of premier educational institutions to come up with a range of exciting educational format programs.
We also saw the launch of two programs under our leadership curriculum – The Certified Business Analyst and Certified Emotionally Intelligent Manager– both programs saw positive traction in the market and we hope to see both programs get into high gear from the next quarter and add to our portfolio of successful programs.
We had a large number of In-company bespoke programs and we saw long term tie ups for a variety of organizations like NIIT , ITC – Infotech , IMT- Hyderabad in this quarter , the programs are in areas like including leadership , HR and strategy.
We also saw a large number of business relationship tie ups including Qatar , Singapore and Bahrain ( relaunch ) where we hope to increase our footprint in new territories.
On the quality front the programs maintained very high customer recall and retention and we continue getting over 60% of total customers as repeat customers even including individuals
Internally our HR processes continued to excite participants – The Eid celebrations was done with great fanfare in true Hyderabadi Fashion with a huge hundi of biryani and a presentation on the significance of Eid Ul Fitr – the entire celebration being organized by our Celebrations team , The birthday celebrations were well organized we also this quarter reached out to even our ex employees where we had some of ex employees coming to celebrate their Birthday at our office. Our Young achiever internship was an unprecendented success with 18 interns coming in from IIMs , IIT , NMIMS , IMT and NIT , Our interns went on to win kudos – the IMT interns – Janane and Marilyn won best and second internship projects at IMT , Manasa our intern from NIT Warangal had her internship paper published in an International Journal and Mayuri our intern from Icfai Business School won best project Internship in her institute – Proof that our internships are of high quality ,
We had two senior people joining this quarter as a part of the Middle Earth Management Council ( MC ) , Varaprasad joined us with over 20 years of experience from organizations like Modi Xerox to head our HR certifications team as a Deputy Director, Haripriya joined us with around 16 years of L&D experience from organizations like Genpact , Dell and she is looking into quality and product development , we recruited a total of over 16 people this quarter an unprecedented number for us.
So all in all an exciting eventful quarter for us here at middle earth …… many beginnings ……….
