MEHR – The Inside Story – Oct – Dec 2013

This Quarter at Middle Earth , we are excited to have a few changes within the organization. We have had a few new employees joining us. Upasana Aneja has joined us as the Deputy Director. She manages our Marketing teams as well as our Training & Ops team. We have also had Ravi Santosh joining us as the HR Team Lead. He would be leading HR and Operations team.

We have also had a few marketing executives join us. We have Rajashekar and Ranjani joining the WHRB team; Manoj and Sravani joining the CAMI D team and Sowmya and Ravikiran joining the CAMI I team.

At Middle Earth , we try to add a dose of fun to our work. Towards the end of the month, we had our Fun Friday activities which was facilitated by our new Dy. Director – Upasana.

MEHR In-Company Workshops Oct-Dec 2013

Schneider Electric has tied up with us for conducting Train the Trainer programs for all their In-House trainers . As a Training and development company, Middle Earth has undertaken the project of conducting the workshops and certifying the In-House trainers through a customized 3 day TTT program, which includes Pre and Post Assessment of the participants through video mirroring exercise. Previously we conducted the TTT program for the Schneider offices in India but have now started the project for the international offices as well. This quarter Ms. Kalpana Arora facilitated the Global TTT program for Schneider, Singapore. We also had Mr. Ronald Raj facilitating the TTT training for the Rudrapur plant in India and Ms. Priya Iyer at the Bangalore office in India.

In the month of October, Mr. Nitin Sanker had conducted a one-day Managerial Development Training for the Senior Level Employees at MAQ Software, Hyderabad. This one day training was followed by a one day Leadership Development training for the mid level employees of the company.

Dr. Aveena Gudapatti – one of our Senior trainers and also a member of our Board of Directors; facilitated a one day training program for Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd. The training was conducted on Negotiation Skills for the Sales team.

At the end of the Quarter, we had a Certified Score Card training program for the Senior professors at Indira Institute of Management, Pune. The two day training was facilitated by Mr. Raj Aphale.

CAMI – WHRB Best Project 2013

One of the main events during our HR Summits is the CAMI/WHRB Best Project Presentation where the CAMI/WHRB students, who have received the highest scores for their project amongst 300 other projects submitted in that year, are awarded and their projects are presented.


Mr. Ravi Ranga Raju was one of the awardees of the South Asian OD and Talent Management Summit held in Mumbai . He is the HR Manager and Business partner at Thomson Reuters. His project was on the Implementation of an Assessment based approach to Team Leader selection and Development. The objective of the project was to enable a transparent process for selecting employees in mid management roles’ to identify skill and competency gaps of both new and existing Team leaders; and to build a strong development plan to help incumbents to overcome gaps and become people managers.

MEHR Lands HR Certification Institute Approved Provider Status

Middle Earth HR, has been awarded Approved Provider status by the HR Certification Institute and can offer recertification credit for the approved programs. Middle earth HR has received the HRCI Approved Provider Status for its HR public workshop programs. After receiving the Approved Provider Status, the various programs had been submitted for review of the HRCI. The Approval for some of the programs submitted has already been received.

The Recertification Credits apply toward the following certifications for HR professionals: PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and GPHR(Global Professional in Human Resources). MEHR’S Annual South Asian OD & Talent Management Summit – 2013

Middle Earth HR conducted their second HR Summit on the 26th October 2013 at Hotel VITS International, Mumbai in association with its research wing CAMI – Carlton Advanced Management Institute. The conference was held on the area of Organisational Development and Talent Management. The Summit pooled in more than 130 key decision makers and strategic leaders from different industries. The full day event also gathered HR change agents & Leading professionals holding strategic roles apart from our Alumni and clients who are at top management level across industries. Last time, more than 85% of the participants consisted of  Heads and Directors of HR / OD departments and  CEO of organisations who enthusiastically participated in all discussions, forums and had also contributed in terms sharing knowledge & experiences, to learn , bond and benefit.

MEHR Public Workshops – September 13

As Training Company, Middle Earth HR emphasizes on the development and training of the HR Professionals.

This month we have introduced a new Workshop Certified Talent Manager in Delhi which was well received. Also our Certified OD Analyst received a very good response in Mumbai, pertaining to which the same Workshop was conducted twice along with the Ganpati festivities.

Our International Location Workshop at Dubai stood out as they had 11 Nationalities people coming & working together to make the Session a Success.

Also we have had an active presence in Egypt since this Quarter with the Certified Performance & Competency Developer – CPCD and Certified Psychometric Testing Professional – CPTP Workshops

We have started a new Workshop Certified Talent Manager – CTM and also have introduced a Modified version of Certified Trainer Facilitator – CTF that is Master Trainer Facilitator
